I Spy Montreal’s Winter Carnival Break Down
0

Parents, it’s winter carnival madness this weekend, with 10+ winter carnivals happening from Laval to Brossard. Temperatures look mild, and there’s sunshine in the forecast, so let’s attach our tuques!

Go big: If you like the idea of the mega carnivals with tons of activities, head out for the last weekend of La Féte des Neiges at Parc Jean Drapeau, the St. Rose en Blanc Festival in Laval, or the Carnival Glisse et Glace in Terrbonne. If you really want to get out of the city, there’s Winterlude in Ottawa or the annual Carnaval in Quebec City.

Go home(ier): For smaller, cozier festivals, head to winter carnivals in Outremont, Hampstead or Cote St. Luc. There’s also a family skate day happening in Pointe Claire, and the pond hockey festival in Lachine.

Go inside: It’s the last weekend for catching winter family activities at the Biodome, and there are a few children’s shows happening around the city.

Get all the details in the I Spy Montréal weekend guide.
