About Mummies List

History

The mummies list was born in 2004 when its founder, Andrea Rich, decided to create a new and innovative way for moms to share resources and information. Like most new moms, Andrea found herself "out of the loop" after her daughter was born and decided to do some research as to what was available to her (classes, activities, where to shop, etc.) and shared it with friends. Soon enough, the sharing of information became so popular that the mummies list grew to include thousands of moms. The more it grew, the greater the voice moms had in their community - and with it, the ability to make a difference.

What we're all about

Mummies list was created out of need. Moms now have the opportunity to share valuable information as well as resources. As the website has expanded, we have been able to promote a variety of family friendly businesses across the city that offer discounts to mummies list members who present their Mummy card. Every Family Friendly Business is referred by a mom on our list, therefore they must be great! Now the whole family can enjoy activities, shopping and hang outs across the city, at great discounts. Once you become a member, you not only have a voice in your community but you also support your local business partners! Be a part of something bigger, and save thousands in mummy card discounts!
